As usual for the beginning of the academic year, the IEEE Student Branch hosts the IEEEXtreme, an international programming competition where contestants are expected to solve a series of problems.
This competition is mainly planned for students (including PhD students); they participate in teams of at most three persons. Those who would like to participate but currently have no team may also register separately; in this case, we will try to find teammates.
The Liège IEEEXtreme will take place in the Montefiore building starting October 22 (2 AM) until Octover 23 (2 AM). We will welcome contestants starting during Friday's evening.
All contestants must be IEEE student members. We offer a registration at 10€ (instead of 27$) for the 20 first registrants.
During the competition, we will take care of the infrastructure and food (those will be offered by the Student Branch).
For more information about the competition (problem examples, rules, etc.), see the IEEE website.
Registrations until October 14.
If you are interested, we have examples of problems that were given recently for previous editions of the Xtreme. Send us an email and we will send them to you.
