The Liège IEEE Student Branch invites you to a Julia training. Julia is a dynamic and fast programming language: dynamic like Python, R, or MATLAB, fast as C or Fortran. It is currently booming in many fields, as it is entirely open source, with a MATLAB-like syntax. This training presents the Julia language and its ecosystem.

Thibaut Cuvelier will be the lecturer.

Where? R7 (building B28 - Montefiore).

When? 17 May, from 12:30 to 13:30.

The IEEE Student Branch organises a lecture about PCB making. The topics will be the following:

  • Theoritical aspects about PCB (general explanations, making, etc.)
  • Electrical characteristics (resistance, loops, etc.)
  • Elements of electromagnetical compatibility
  • Usage of a drawing software (like Altium) and good practices
  • What can be done at Montefiore

This lecture will take place in the room R7 (Montefiore B28) on February 10th, from 12:30 to 13:30.

Registration is free but mandatory.

The Liège IEEE Student Branch invites you to an Arduino training. The Arduino is a powerful and easy-to-use microcontroller. This training will cover the following topics:

  • introduction and possibilities
  • programming: measurements, control, interruptions
  • alternatives
  • tricks

When? 8 March, from 12:30 to 13:30.
